Lee Roy Bonham (1933 - 2009)

Lee Roy Bonham, a Christian, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at the age of 76. Funeral: Noon Tuesday at Airport Freeway Church of Christ, 210 W. Airport Freeway, Euless. Interment: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, with military honors. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Lee was born March 12, 1933, in Erick, Okla., to Albert and Avil Bonham. He grew up in Delhi, Okla., and graduated from Delhi High School. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Sill, Okla. Lee was co-owner of Triangle Machine & Manufacturing in Euless for over 38 years. Lee served as an elder of the Church of Christ for 37 years. He was known for his wisdom, compassion and generosity by all who knew him. He was a dedicated Christian who followed the Bible and loved the Lord, his wife, his family and friends in that order.
